How I met my Coach

Even a coach needs a coach, right?

So, how do you become a coach? What does a coach do? And why would someone need a coach?  These are all questions that have gone through my head over the past two years. I’ve met a ton of coaches through my Spirit Junkie community and I feel a calling to do this kind of work, but it’s definitely a scary process and investment.

After Spirit Junkie Level 2, I felt the need to find a coach. I felt lost in my work and wanted someone to help guide me through the steps. However, I couldn’t find someone with whom I felt that connection.

I reached out to one person, but she never got back to me and one coach reached out to me, but I didn’t feel that connection with her. So, I surrendered.

I asked the Universe to bring me a coach with whom I would feel at ease and whom I could trust. And that I could afford!

A few months later, I signed up for an online course and when I registered, I also signed up with an affiliate who offered amazing bonuses. I chose to sign up with her mainly because her first book had been a ray of hope during some tough times a few years back. Plus, one of her bonuses was two hours of free coaching and I was excited to chat with her. However, I wanted to wait until I had finished a few chapters of the course and knew a bit more of where I was headed.

In May, there was a live event for the course and I knew she would be there in order to launch her third book on the Friday night. As a bonus to me, she co-wrote this book with an old colleague of mine, Manon Porelle so I was excited to celebrate this with them and to meet Karine Drouin  in person.

On top of being invited to the book launch, we were also invited to an intimate session with her an hour before the launch as part of her bonus for signing up through her. There were only about a dozen of us there for the first part and it was amazing. She made us introduce ourselves (with a mic for practice) and explain why we’d chosen to sign up for this course. When I spoke, my vision came out perfectly. I didn’t stutter. I didn’t ramble. I spoke with confidence : “This is what I want to do”. When I finished, she had tears in her eyes and I felt SO validated. I felt that connection that I was looking for.

Karine is an amazing energetic presence that makes you feel like you’re the only person in the room when you are talking to her and after having met her, I keep telling myself that I need to speak up more about my project because it deserves to be shared. With her help, there is a plan in the making! Also, I’ll be participating in something quite exciting alongside her in January and I can’t wait! Stay tuned!

Once again, thank you Universe for bringing me the perfect coach 💜
